Christmas Caroling!!!

Image
Join us as we spread Cheer, Joy, and the Good News of Christmas around Walla Walla on Wednesday, December. 18th at 6:30pm. We'll meet at the church, load up some vans, and carpool to several locations around town to sing carols to those who can't get out much this season. Voices of all ages are encouraged to come along!

After our rounds we will come back to the church where Pastor Albert will have Cocoa and Cookies waiting for us to warm back up.

We hope you will come join in the fun!

Christmas Eve 2013

Image
Christmas Eve Services are on Tuesday, December 24th at 5:00pm, 7:00pm, & 11:00pm.

We invite community, family, friends, visitors... in fact, everyone to attend one, two, or all three of these unique Christmas Eve services.

5:00 – “Wiggles Welcome” Service. Prepared especially for children and families, this shorter service will feature contemporary music and a sermon in skit-form. If you have a child or used to be a child, or are a grandparent, guardian, relative, or neighbor of a child, you are happily invited to this up-beat service! Kids will get a chance to play in the Christmas Chimes Choir, enjoy Storytime, and watch a mini-drama. (Infant care available in the nursery.)

7:00 – Choir Cantata & Carols. Led by our Chancel Choir, soloists, and others, this music-filled service is sure to express our joy in the beautiful music of Christmas. The Christmas message is told alongside more traditional music, new arrangements, congregational carol singing, and moments of quiet. You…

Advent Retreat: "His Name is Called..."

Image
Join us on Saturday, December 7th, from 10:00am - 2:00pm (or as you are able) for a time set apart from the hustle and bustle of an evermore commercialized Christmas Season. This time of reflection, quiet, and participation will prepare us for the coming of Emmanuel, God with us in the person of Jesus the Christ-child.

In this busy time we have set aside a few hours to offer the opportunity to seek the true Christmas Spirit, to open our hearts and quiet our minds, to retreat from the holiday and open ourselves to the presence of the Holy Spirit, to remember what we as Christians know to be the truth of Advent.
These few hours are a time to come together as followers of Christ, to remember not just with our words but with our actions that “Jesus is the Reason for the Season”.

Coffee, pastries, and lunch are included at this no-cost event. We hope that you, your friends, family, and neighbors will come to this focused, worshipful time.
