Christmas Eve 2013
We invite community, family, friends, visitors... in fact, everyone to attend one, two, or all three of these unique Christmas Eve services.
5:00 – “Wiggles Welcome” Service. Prepared especially for children and families, this shorter service will feature contemporary music and a sermon in skit-form. If you have a child or used to be a child, or are a grandparent, guardian, relative, or neighbor of a child, you are happily invited to this up-beat service! Kids will get a chance to play in the Christmas Chimes Choir, enjoy Storytime, and watch a mini-drama. (Infant care available in the nursery.)
7:00 – Choir Cantata & Carols. Led by our Chancel Choir, soloists, and others, this music-filled service is sure to express our joy in the beautiful music of Christmas. The Christmas message is told alongside more traditional music, new arrangements, congregational carol singing, and moments of quiet. You are cordially invited to this musical service of celebration! (Full nursery care provided.)
11:00 – Contemplative Service. This “Service of Gathering Light” is a wonderfully restful way to gently enter into Christmas Day. With communion, musical solos and small ensembles; a more 'unplugged' style of music, it is our hope you will deeply feel the peace that the incarnate Prince of Peace brought to earth on that night so long ago. If you have ever had a busy Advent season or just need some quiet worship to remember Christ’s love, you are lovingly invited to this calming service! (No nursery available.)
