Women’s Ministry

Women Equipping Women Thursday Morning and Monday Afternoon Classes

Women Equipping Women New Bible Study
WEW is starting a new Bible study called "When You Pray." The Thursday morning class begins on April 4 at 10:00 and the Monday afternoon class begins on April 8 at 1:00 p.m. You're welcome to join either of these studies.

Prayer is a gift—an invitation to talk with God. But prayer can also be a challenge. Thankfully, in God’s Word, we encounter many voices who teach us how to pray.

In this 7-session study, join six beloved Bible teachers who will help you study prayers in the Bible that can inspire your own. You’ll learn that God welcomes your praise and lament, your thanksgiving and intercession.

You’ll see examples of how to pray when you’re alone and when you’re gathered with others. Above all, you’ll notice there’s no one right way to pray. As you draw near to God through prayer, you’ll find your faith strengthened and your heart united to Christ.

Books are available at the church office for a $20 donation. For more information, contact the church office at 509-525-1093.

WEW Friday Zoom Class

A New Study of the Book of James Begins April 8
On Monday, April 8, the Zoom Bible study group will begin a new study called, “AM I DOING THIS RIGHT?  HOW TO LIVE OUT YOUR FAITH THROUGH THE WISDOM FOUND IN JAMES” produced by Proverbs 31 Ministries. Using the book of James with daily teachings on the First 5 App and a study guide for home study, we’ll find practical ways to live out our Christian faith.

We will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, via Zoom, to discuss week 1 of this 7-week study. We’d love to have you join the discussion. Contact the church office at 525-1093, for more information. Workbooks are available in the church office. A suggested donation of $18 helps with the cost of the workbooks.
