The Rock is our 3rd through 5th grade student ministry and it is moving to a new time for the summer. We will alternate weeks with K-5 Adventure Days and meet on Thursdays from noon to 3 pm. Dates are 7/11, 7/25 and 8/8.
K-5 Adventure Days
Every other week we will have special activities for our students entering/exiting K-5th grade. These adventure days will run from noon to 3 pm here at the church and each gathering will have a theme. Look for post cards to give a clue how to dress for the event. Dates are 7/18, 8/1 and 8/15.
We strive to guide children in the beginning of their faith journeys’, while intentionally building ways for children, teens, and adults to grow, not just as individuals, but as a family.
We offer programs twice weekly (Sunday and Wednesday) during the school year. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Sarah Thomson.
Our children’s ministry uses The Gospel Project curriculum by Lifeway. This is a Christ-centered curriculum that focuses on introducing children to Christ in every lesson. We are currently working our way through the story of God in a chronological manner. Their website also includes training videos for teachers and parents alike on how to better engage kids about their faith outside of the Sunday morning setting.
